THE THIRD NIGHT
It’s believed that a dead person would return home on the third night after he died. When the clock strikes 3am on the third night, the most terrifying hour is upon us, because we never know why the dead wants to come back for.
Maybe he will return to find the one he loves. Or maybe he’ll return to take revenge.
We don’t know for sure, but we can feel he’s coming. We can feel the cold breath of the dead next to us, at 3am.
The Convent
Students at a convent school are told of the legend of a haunted chapel. Late at night, people would hear a faint piano melody from the locked-up chapel that received no visitors for decades. It’s said that if you dare to look, you’d see a headless nun playing the piano.
A group high-school students come up with a prank. They draw a name from a pool and the unlucky person will be subjected to bully and cruel treatment. Khem’s name is picked, and she suffers a series of increasingly wicked pranks from the group. Finally, her friends steal a valuable belonging from her and hide it in the chapel, which is forbidden to the students.
Khem decides to go there. She’s frightened by the story of the headless nun, but she’s already there. And before she can turn away and run, someone starts playing the piano.
THE OFFERING
At a shop that sells paper money and offerings to the deceased, Kamod and Tar have to work overtime into the night after Boss Ju and Boss Kow have received a huge and urgent order.
But while they’re rushing to finish the order, they hear bad news: Boss Ju’s car just had an accident and she was killed. Chill runs down Kamod’s spine, because Boss Ju is in the shop with them, watching them work since evening.
When the men whose job is to make offerings for the ghosts meet a ghost, it’s the beginning of a very long and scary night.
